Our Hospitality Center

This new facility is a beautiful old home, adjacent to the Funeral Home, that we have remodeled to provide a place for gatherings with family and friends after a funeral. We believe it is unique in the greater Portland area and offers an alternative for a reception after a service.

The Center, conveniently right next door, provides a quiet, comfortable and homelike atmosphere where family and friends can meet, just to talk and remember.

The Hospitality Center, originally built in 1923 and recently renovated by Hobbs, offers disabled access and free parking. There is a large living room, a kitchen facility, a bathroom where guests can freshen up, and two quiet smaller rooms for families. There is a fireplace to warm up Maine’s colder seasons, an exterior patio, and it’s an easy stroll from the Funeral Home..

The Center is a facility where you can hold a reception and gather family and friends. You may simply use the rooms or you may also wish to bring, or arrange, refreshments.

Hobbs’ professional staff will assist you in making any arrangements for use of the Center that will be appropriate for your family and the occasion, including refreshments if you wish.

We will answer your questions and provide service day or night, 24 hours a day. And we welcome your comments about our Hospitality Center.
