Alicia Rae
Pettigrazzio
Dec 30, 1974 — Nov 12, 2023
Lewiston
Alicia Rae Pettigrazzio, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, auntie, and Nonnie. We would love to describe our mother to you. She was someone with a fiery soul and a strong-willed mind that led her through life. She had a tendency to go against the grain but that is what made her who she was. She has always been adventurous and a thrill seeker. She loved to be outdoors and playing right along with the kids, she loved the ocean, swimming and riding the waves. She was a caretaker through and through. She enjoyed taking care of and doing for others, whether she knew you or not. She loved her children and grandchildren more than you could understand, they were her pride and joy and she wanted to spend every minute possible with them. Her smile made you smile, her hugs made you feel warm and her snuggles made you feel safe. You could always tell what she was feeling based on what music she was blasting at the time. She would stop everything if you called and needed to talk. She loved to talk and would literally talk for hours upon hours, always sharing specific details and outlining all of the events as she experienced them. There was never a time she would hang up before you were ready. If she knew you were coming over, she would prepare your favorite meal to have waiting, not forgetting a single detail. Mom always wanted you to feel like you were the most important one in that moment. She loved deeply, truly, and fiercely. All she wanted in life was to make her loved ones proud. It was effortless to love her, and we will miss her for an eternity.
Alicia is predeceased by her mother Cynthia Merriman, whom she wanted nothing more than to be with again. Her grandparents Phyllis Steen Darling and Adelbert Darling. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Kelsie and Tyler Bouchey, Paige and Cody Beaulieu, Alison and Benjamin Zegouros, and Nolan Pettigrazzio. Her lifelong friend and co-parent to Nolan, Stacy Bernheisel. Her four grandchildren, Lincoln, Wrenley, Greyson and Scarlette. Her sisters Dawn Marceau and her husband Bill, and Nichole Basset and her husband Jonathan. Her nephews Nate, Parker, and Bronson. Her nieces Myla and Kacie and her husband Ryan. Her great nieces Layla and Kinleigh, and aunts, uncle, and cousins.
