SOUTH PORTLAND - Beth Marie Harvey was born on January 23, 1951, in Portland, Maine.  She passed away on June 8, 2024, at the age of 73.

Beth was the daughter of William J. Harvey and Elizabeth B. Harvey and the sister of Chris Harvey, Patricia Stanley, James Harvey, and John Harvey.  She grew up in South Portland and went to South Portland schools, graduating from South Portland High School.

Beth found happiness while singing in the Holy Cross Church Choir and she was a constant volunteer at the high school track meets at the Portland Expo.

As an adult she lived an independent, though struggling life.  She was a survivor and never met a person she didn't like.  Every day was a challenge, and she took it on with all the energy she had.

We know she has finally found peace and will be missed!

Funeral services will be under the direction of Hobbs Funeral Home in South Portland and will be private.  At a later date there will be a memorial service in Beth's honor.
