Candice Elizabeth Warren, aged 75 years young, passed peacefully at her home in Cape Elizabeth, Maine following a courageous battle against cancer.  Candice was born in Schenectady, NY to parents Robert Warren and Ruth Edwards Warren on September 23, 1946.  Candice is survived by her cherished three children, Leslie Connolly, Lincoln Baker and Elizabeth Baker and their partners as well as her 4 grandchildren Eliza, Ben and Aidan Connolly and Raven Baker.  She is survived by her sister Sally Voegeli and brother Peter Warren.  She was a dog lover and leaves her 5 granddogs Moseley, Pikabo, Jax, River and Olive as well.

Candice grew up in Marblehead, MA and lived a full and exciting life as an active, loving and philanthropic human being.  Candice grew up loving ballet and jazz dance, racing and cruising sailboats, horseback riding and skiing.  She traveled throughout much of her life and felt fortunate to have such rich experiences.  She was a scholar, achieving a master's degree and nearly completing a doctorate degree in social work from Simmons College.  She was passionate about her career and enjoyed helping high-risk adolescents and adults and teaching life and coping skills through the therapeutic practice of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  Her creative interests included cooking, gardening, sewing and decorating.  She loved water and mountains and enjoyed her dear home with panoramic views of the ocean in Cape Elizabeth.  Candice particularly enjoyed spending more time with her children, grandchildren and dear friends in her retirement.

She will be remembered for her compassion, devotion to her family, her resilience and strength and her love and enthusiasm for life.  She was last quoted saying "I had no regrets and I feel very, very blessed."

A small memorial honored Candice at her beautiful home in June, 2022 where family and close friends gathered to celebrate her life.
