SCARBOROUGH—Carol Ann LaFreniere, age 88, Scarborough, ME, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and a cherished member of the Scarborough Community.   She was born August 14,1936, in Bar Harbor, ME to Alford and Ethel Vigue.

She is survived by her three children, David Penney, Rick Penney, and Cindy Wade; her grandchildren, Troy Cummings, Jessica Beliveau, Alicia McDonald, Brandis Brown; and all her great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday April 4, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Hobbs Funeral Home, 671 U.S. Route 1, Scarborough, ME.

Service to follow immediately at 11 a.m. at the same location.

Any are welcome for the burial at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland at noon on the same day
