Chad Steven O'Malley, of Lyman, born February 7, 1979, in Portland, Maine, died April 18, 2024, at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford, Maine.

Chad worked for many years in customer service, helping people.  Working is where he met some of his closest friends as well as his adoring wife, Melanie.

Chad was an avid sports fan.  He loved the Patriots, Bruins, and the Sea Dogs.  He also loved attending concerts ranging from Dave Matthews to Taylor Swift.  Chad enjoyed taking rides to the mountains and the ocean with his wife, Melanie.  He loved having family time with his nieces and nephews, whom he adored.

Chad is predeceased by his mother, Sally O'Malley of Cape Elizabeth.

Chad is survived by his wife, Melanie O'Malley of Lyman, his father, Joe Meyers of Portland, and his two brothers, Rick O'Malley of North Carolina and Joe O'Malley of Buxton, as well as four nieces and two nephews.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 23 from 4-7 p.m., with a service to be held the following day, Wednesday, April 24 at 10 a.m., both at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland, Maine.
