South Portland – Daniel Stanley Wood, II, 67 of South Portland passed away at Maine Medical Center in Portland on Thursday, November 24, 2022.

Daniel was born on September 24, 1955 in Putnam, CT to Daniel Stanley Wood and Paula (Carragher) Wood.  He was employed as a driver for O'Reilly's Auto and by Mermaid Transport.

Daniel was a member of Sweden Borgan – The New Church. He enjoyed reading, technology and humor.

He was predeceased by his father, Daniel Wood; infant sister Elizabeth Ellen Wood and infant brother Robert John Wood.  Daniel is survived by his mother, Paula Wood as well as numerous cousins in Connecticut.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at The New Church, 302 Stevens Ave., Portland, ME.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital .
