Eric David Booker passed away on May 17, 2026, at his home with his wife Judy by his side and their beloved dog Lacey.

Eric was born on September 8,1958 in Houlton to his beloved mother Reba Wiggins. Eric is a graduate of Houlton High School class of 1976 and was looking forward to attending his 50th reunion this year. He was a nurse at Maine Medical Center for 20 years and loved his job and later became a liaison for home health visiting nurses. Eric loved working with people and taking care of animals, especially his dogs and his neighbor’s dog as well. He also loved baking and decorating cakes and enjoyed cooking. He is predeceased by his mother Reba Wiggins. He is survived by his wife Judy Booker, his daughters Erica Hibbard and her husband Richard and his youngest daughter Megan Booker as well as his grandson Brayden. He is also survived by his siblings Wayne Booker and Rebecca Wiggins as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours and a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland. Visiting hours will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest City Cemetery. A small reception will then be held at the home he and his wife shared together.
