It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Faye M. Myrick Mullen, a cherished grandmother, mother, wife, and sister, who passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, after a short illness. Born on September 11, 1939, in Stacyville, Maine, Faye's life was a testament to love, compassion, and unwavering strength. Faye worked at Welch Stencil Company before making the decision to leave to care for her children and grandchildren.
Faye dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, nurturing her daughters Pamela and husband Glenn Miller, Christine Nickerson, Gail Atwood and Bob Whiting with kindness and support. She also found immense joy in her role as a grandmother, particularly with her beloved granddaughter Katelyn Nickerson and grandson Park Atwood. Faye's little dog Molley was her constant companion, bringing her comfort and joy throughout her life.
Beyond her family, Faye's heart extended into the community. As a proud member of the Portland Eagles Club, she served as the Maine State Past Madam President, dedicating her time and efforts to raising funds for numerous charities, including those addressing heart and cancer needs. Her commitment to helping others was unwavering, leaving a legacy of kindness and compassion.
Faye was predeceased by her parents, her son Richard Jr. and loving husband Richard Sr.
Faye is survived by her loving daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her dear brother Robert (Linda) Myrick from New Hampshire.
Her family is profoundly grateful to SCU 4 and beloved friends Kelly Bilodeau, Dr. Terri Febbraro for their unwavering support during this time. A special note of gratitude to her long time Physician Dr. Dan Loiselle.
