PORTLAND – Graham Shallow passed away on January 19, 2023, at the young age of 25 following an all too painful battle with mental illness.

Graham grew up in South Portland, Maine graduating from South Portland High School in 2015. As a child he was known for his big blue eyes and adult-like empathy. He loved dogs, video games and long rides. During his high school years, he learned to play percussion, the piano and the guitar. He was a fast learner and became quite accomplished in a short time.

Along with music, Graham loved to write, draw and walk. In 2016 he was pictured in a Portland Press Herald article while walking along breakwater at Spring Point. Graham loved to travel as well and would take busses to other states just to check them out.

Graham Shallow is the cherished son of David Shallow Jr. (South Portland) and Cathy Pelletier (Portland). He is survived by his parents, his sister, Caitlin Shallow, of South Portland, as well as his grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, from 3-5 p.m. at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland, ME.
