Gwendolyn (Gwen) Winch Jackiewecz passed quietly away on Sunday, May 24,2026 at D’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston.

Gwen was born in Portland, Maine to Ansel and Rose Winch in September of 1926. She attended Portland schools and graduated from Deering High School. She married Stanley (Jack) Jackiewecz. They were married for nearly 60 years.

Gwen is survived by her daughter, Bonnie J Hayes (Robert), her granddaughter, Gretchen von der Linden (Henry), grandson, Benjamin Hayes. Also, three great-grandchildren, Jacob and Emma von der Linden, and Isabel Hayes.

A private committal will be held on June 1, 2026, at Forest City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Andwell Health Partners 15 Strawberry Avenue Lewiston, Maine 04240.
