Harold F. "Fritz" von Ulmer, II

Fritz von Ulmer passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on October 20, 2024. He leaves behind his spouse, Brian A. Grennan, and was predeceased by his twin sister, Maryann Lockton, and his parents, Harold and Maryann Ulmer.

Fritz was raised in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1957, Brown University 1961 and Boston University in 1967with an MBA.

He began his career in marketing and advertising as Director of International Marketing for the United Fruit Company—United Brands—and continued his long and successful career working with  consumer-focused companies.

Fritz will be deeply missed by all who knew him—most especially by his lifelong friend and devoted spouse, Brian.

Per his wishes, burial will be private. Donations may be made in his name to The Denmark Arts Center, 50 W Main Street, Denmark, ME 04022
