Steep Falls – Helen June (Stoddard) Brady Reynolds, 99, entered God's Paradise on March 24, 2023 with her loving family by her side.
Born in Moncton, New Brunswick to Lawrence L. Stoddard and Dorothy (Dunham) Stoddard on March 26, 1923. She moved to South Portland, Maine as a young child. She attended South Portland schools and graduated from South Portland High School, class of 1941.
June worked outside the home at Canfield Communications as a bookkeeper for many years. She loved spending time at Sebago Lake. She and her first husband, Lawrence A. Brady honeymooned there in 1945. It was where she felt most "at home". Her second husband (Ray T. Reynolds, deceased 2010) also grew fond of spending summers there. Winters were spent in Lake Wales, Florida, where June made many friends. She enjoyed making all kinds of crafts and was always "working on a project".
June is predeceased by her two husbands, her daughters Lois J. Brady and Linda A. Karantza and son Lance J. Brady. She was the oldest of five children and was predeceased by all of her siblings; Ira Stoddard, Phyllis Hasselbach, Elizabeth Stoddard and Linwood Stoddard. She is survived by her children Lea Brady of Steep Falls, Lynn (Lisa) Brady of Scarborough and Lori (Rick) Perruzzi of Tampa, FL; step-children Raynette Taylor, Ronnie Reynolds and Randy Reynolds, all of Texas; seven grandchildren, Rick (Tara) Perruzzi, Jennifer (Jim) DiMillo, Christin (Kate) Szuch-Perruzzi, Kathleen Lorfano, Patrick Brady, Ami Karantza, Andrea (David) Fournier and eleven great-grandchildren.
