Kathleen Sue Dukes, aged 76, passed away on May 22, 2024. She was the mother of one child, Devin Dukes, who will miss her immensely. Kathy is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Wayne Dukes, and their dogs Buddy and Auggie. Hope they are enjoying lots of long walks in heaven!

Kathy was born on May 6 in Bowling Green, Ohio. She and Wayne moved to Maine to be close to their daughter, Devin and her husband Kevin, which was a gift. Kathy never lost her love for Ohio and she will be laid to rest there, close to her parents Martha and Charles Ragan.

Kathy was a devout Christian and focused on faith and scripture to help guide her through life's trials. She also loved dogs, and her granddogs Vali and Lola were overjoyed for "Treat Lady" to visit every Sunday. Kathy has left behind siblings Carol Franks, Rose Marie (Robert) Rowan, and Larry (Susan) Ragan.

A celebration of life will be held for Kathy at State Street Church UCC in Portland, Maine, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
