Kristopher Woodman Hunt

1979- 2025

AUBURN—Kristopher Woodman Hunt, 45, died unexpectedly after a long illness at his home in Auburn on February 4, 2025.

Kris was born on December 21, 1979, in Portland, Maine.

He enjoyed participating in Special Olympics and his favorite pastimes included fishing, building and collecting model cars and trucks.  Kris also enjoyed spending time with his life-long string of canine pets: Patches, Rascal, Amber, Arthur, Marley & Dawson.

Kris is survived by his parents Edward and Doreen Hunt of Scarborough, his sister Stephanie of Gardiner, his niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday February 12 from 4PM-7PM at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, in South Portland.  A service will be held the following day, Thursday February 13 at 10 AM at the same location.
