Portland, Maine- Larry R. Dow of Portland, Maine passed away on Saturday July 16, 2022 at his residence.

Larry was born in Portland, Maine on February 24, 1964, and was the son of the late Lewis C. Dow (d. April 1974) and Sally B. Dow (d. January 2012). He resided in the Greater Portland area for most of his life. Larry worked for various construction companies in his younger years. He enjoyed watching local New England sporting teams and loved NASCAR racing. A game called Dice was a fun hobby that he enjoyed with family and friends. One of his talents was wood burning; and he found great joy in creating gifts for others.

Larry is survived by his two sons, Brandyn J. Dow of Portland, Maine; Dustyn R. Dow and his wife Rebecca, and granddaughter, Liliana of Ayer, Massachusetts; his sister Sharon M. Collins of Oxford, Maine and many nieces and nephews. Larry is predeceased by his brother, Michael L. Dow (d. May 2008).

A private graveside service will be held at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland at a later date.
