Lynne Audrey Stoddard, 77, of Scarborough, Maine, passed away on December 22, 2025.

Lynne was deeply devoted to her family and took great pride in the life she built with those she loved.  She was the beloved wife of Carl Stoddard Jr., with whom she shared over 30 years of marriage.  High school sweethearts, their bond was one of enduring love, partnership, and mutual respect.

She is survived by her two daughters, Erika Stoddard, and Erin Stoddard and her wife Kristen Howe.  Lynne was a proud and loving grandmother to Bailey and Carley, who brought her immense joy.

Lynne was passionate about local politics.  She served for many years as Town Treasurer in Spencer, Massachusetts, a role she carried out with dedication, integrity, and pride.  She believed deeply in the importance of being involved.  She was also proud of her Finnish heritage, being a second-generation Finnish American.

Lynne's love extended far beyond her own children.  Over the years, she brought warmth, understanding, and unconditional care to many of her children's friends, offering a steady maternal presence and becoming a mother figure to those who needed one most.

Above all, Lynne will be remembered for her loyalty, her sharp mind, her generosity of spirit, and the steady presence she offered to those who knew her.  She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue through her family and all the lives she touched.
