Windham – Mariah Rose Gallant (MooMoo), 25, passed away on March 7, 2023 at Maine Medical Center during heart surgery surrounded by family.

Mariah was born on February 19, 1998, the daughter of Hilda Call and Robert Gallant, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Mariah attended Windham Schools. She worked at Dunkin' Donuts and Plato's Closet. Mariah had a passion for make-up, fashion and food. She was the most gorgeous, natural beauty and she knew it…so did everybody that was blessed to know her. Those blessed enough to love her saw that beauty from within.

Mariah loved her family, home-cooked meals and spending time with her handsome son, Jaxon.

Mariah was predeceased by her dad, Robert Chester Gallant, her nana Beverly Ann Call and grandfather Robert Gallant.

She is survived by her son, Jaxson Gabrial Scamman; her mother Hilda Call; sisters Kiahna Love Gray and Emma Marie Perkins; Aunty Alicia Lahey, Uncle Richard Lahey; her babies Bevahna Love Osborne and Lilah Unique Osborne; Grampy David Lahey; Aunt Cheryl Gallant; grandmother Cheryl Stack and many cousins, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland.  A funeral service will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m.
