Nellie J. Robinson, 88, of Falmouth, Maine, passed on Thursday, February 2. She was known to many as Nell, and was born on December 20, 1934 in Weld, Maine. She graduated from Weld High School.

She was predeceased by her father, John Thomas Clemens, and mother, Ethel Mae Clemens, seven brothers and six sisters, Ruth Toothaker, Ruby Gilmett, Richard Clemens, John Thomas Clemens Jr,, Bernice "Sally" Roberts, Vernal, "Spike" Clemens, James Clemens, Shirley Daoust, Alfred "Tommy" Clemens, Cecil Clemens, Phyllis Garrier, Gordon Clemens. She has one sister, Edna Hutchins living in Waldoboro, Maine. She had many nieces and nephews.

She was survived by her daughter, Bonnie Terrill of Guthrie, Oklahoma and son, Mark Robinson of Fayette, Maine and a step son, Robert, "Robbie" Robinson of Lebanon, Maine. Her son, Mark has three sons, Brian, Matthew and Christopher and a great granddaughter, Noah.

She married Robert "Bob" Robinson on November 1, 1956 and remained married until his death in March 16, 2022. Nell worked for Falmouth School Department from 1-8-1975 to 6-22-1998. She was a trailblazer, as she was the first female school bus driver for the Town of Falmouth. She put a special stereo system in the bus so she could play the kids favorite rock music. She loved her students and they loved her a lot. She was known for all the magnetic turtles the students gave her over the years that covered the dashboard of her school bus "13".

Nellie and her husband loved going to Oklahoma every year to escape the cold Maine winter. They would fish on the lake where their daughter, Bonnie and son-in-law, Bobby reside and she would always catch a big fish. She once played the harmonica upon landing "catfish hunter." Singing "won't you sing by the light of the moon". She loved going to the Oklahoma casinos and the casinos loved her attendance, she was known to many as, "Old Lucky."

She traveled to Canada, Newfoundland and the Allagash, often on fishing trips with Bob and was very good at fly fishing. She also was an avid bowler, and she bowled in the world nationals every year for many years. She loved being part of a team and of course, being champs.

She was proud of her children and grandchildren. Nell loved her neighbors and was always there to lend a helping hand.

Nell always had a joke to tell and brought lots of laughter to many. She will be greatly missed.
