Patricia Diane (Rogers) Wheelden, aged 84, of Westbrook, Maine, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026.

Born on April 2, 1942, in Rockland, Maine, Patricia (Pat) was the daughter of Viola and Walter Rogers. She attended South Portland High School and spent her years as a loving, selfless, stay-at-home mom. Patricia was a devout Christian and the perfect example of unconditional love. She was funny (especially with the one-liners), smart, empathetic, and the sweetest Mom that her children could have asked for. She loved to laugh and make jokes. She enjoyed a good yard sale and talking to her friends, of which she had many.

She was a quiet, gentle spirit who deeply loved her family. She was steadfast in her love and devotion to God. She went to be with Him on a holy day: Easter Sunday.

Patricia is survived by her three children, Craig Wheelden, Steven Wheelden, and Cathleen Wheelden; grandchildren, Daniel Wheelden and Elizabeth Roberts; and three great-grandchildren, Emily, Caleb, and Oliver. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Irva Rogers, Beverly Gorwood, Walter "Buddy" Rogers, and Alan Rogers.

A private celebration of life will be held later this year. The date is not yet determined. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland.
