In loving memory of Paula Jones

Paula Jones, 77, of Scarborough, passed away on September 15, 2026. She was born September 8, 1949, in Waterville, Maine, and later move to Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Paula worked at A&W as a car hop, and during that time she was named Miss A&W Root Beer in 1967. It was also while working there that she met her husband, James Jones. The two were married that same year.

Together, Paula and James settled in Scarborough, Maine, where they built a successful life and family. Paula worked alongside her husband in their trucking business, Jones Express, helping to build the company together. She would later open Pampered Nails Salon, which she successfully ran for 14 years.

Paula was always interested in learning something new. She became certified as a Pilates instructor, adding yet another accomplishment to a life filled with hard work and new adventures.

Paula was predeceased by her beloved husband James. She is survived by her son James Jones, and his wife; her daughter Jennifer Libby and her husband; and her six grandchildren who will carry her memory and the many lessons she shared with them.

Paula lived a life filled with love, family, hard work, and an eagerness to keep them learning and growing. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
