Bridgton - Stephen W. Secord, 81, of Bridgeton, Maine, died Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Bella Point in Bridgton. Stephen was born  September 26, 1942 in Portland Maine, the son of Edward and Mary Secord. He graduated from Deering High School class of 1960. Stephen married Gail Perron October 17, 1964.

He enjoyed metal detecting, woodworking, and was a longtime member of St. Peters Episcopal Church. He was a loyal family man. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his wife; Gail Secord, parents; Bill and Mary Secord, in-laws; Sylvester and Ethel Perron; one brother, Lawrence Secord and his wife, Mary Secord; a son Scott W. Secord; and grandson Bradley S. Secord.

He is survived by his children, Chad S. Secord and wife Jennifer, Laurie L. Secord, Rebecca J. Dyke and her husband Benjamin. A daughter-in-law Amy Secord, three grandchildren Derek. Secord, Wilson R. Secord, and Rachael Dyke. He was also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

There will be a graveside service held at Brooklawn Memorial Park, 2002 Congress St., Portland, ME 04102 at 10 AM on September 25, 2024.
