Steven E. Parker, 77, of Scarborough passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on November 22, 2024 at Gosnell Hospice House. He was born in Farmington, ME son to the late Robert L. and Sellie V. (Hill) Parker.

Steven served his country by joining the United States Air Force and married his high school sweetheart, Barbara M. Wing, on December 23, 1969.

He was a private man and a jack of all trades. There was nothing he couldn't fix nor anything he wouldn't fix on his own rather than seeking assistance from the "professionals". He had a passion for the outdoors and could often be found admiring the trees, hiking, kayaking, biking or just enjoying time well spent at his camp in Phillips, ME. He was also an animal lover – particularly cats.

Although he lived his life on a more reserved platform, there was nothing he wouldn't do for those important to him. His loving spirit will be missed by those close to him.

Steven is survived by the love of his life, Barbara Parker; sister, Jane (Barry) Thorndike; and his nephews, Bud and Parker. He was predeceased by his parents; grandmother, Mary Welts; and his beloved cat, Bear.

Per Steven's wishes, there will not be any services at this time.
