SACO - Steven was born July 2, 1971, in Damariscotta, Maine, to parents Kenneth W. Connors and Patricia Adrianna (Haines) Connors. He passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

He grew up in Midcoast Maine's Wiscasset. He attended Wiscasset schools graduating in 1989. He then attended University of Southern Maine attaining a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice in 1993. He then went on to attend and graduate from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.

Prior to his greater than 25 year career at South Portland Police Department, serving in the capacities of detective and patrol officer, he worked as a store detective and was a reserve officer for the town of Norway.

He is predeceased by his father, Kenneth.

He leaves behind his mother, Patricia Connors of Brunswick; a brother, Jody Connors of Wiscasset; sister, Gail Connors Holbrook (Mark) of Woolwich; nephew, Matthew Holbrook of Woolwich; and niece, Mallory Holbrook of Woolwich.

He wasn't just one of the good guys; he was the best guy for those who truly knew him. He was generous, humble, compassionate, dedicated, honorable, dependable, sentimental, fiercely loyal, and he embodied integrity.

He will not be forgotten. His memory will be celebrated, protected, and honored daily.

May he rest in peace with dignified comfort.

There will be no visiting hours or services, per his family's wishes.
